In the summer of 2001 I was
watching a movie in the early evening when the phone
suddenly rang. On the other end of the line was an
acquaintance bearing the sad news that a mutual friend of
ours had suddenly dropped dead of a heart attack. This was a
surprise and it wasn't. Our friend was quite overweight and
had the maximum possible number of heart bypasses done ten
years earlier. Still, he was only sixty years old.
I'll skip ahead now to the year 2005, I don't remember which
month but I had taken to falling asleep on the couch and
also experimenting with Astral Projection every day or two
while lying on the couch.
At the time I had achieved many out of body experiences and
had communicated with (while "projected") a number people
(none of whom I knew), who had died and were present
in the Astral Plane. None of these so called "dead people"
or "entities" was particularly interested in talking to me
but they were polite - they were much the same as
strangers are here on earth.
One evening I decided that I would
try to "project" rather than fall asleep. I wasn't too
sleepy so I knew that I would have a better chance of
"getting out". Sure enough, a short while after I lay down I
found myself projected out in my Astral Body fully alert and
conscious of my surroundings. I proceeded to go to the front
door of the house and walked through it out into the street.
At that point I decided to go to a nearby shopping mall and
look around. I suddenly found myself at the shopping mall,
actually, on a street outside it. When I looked around,
there was my dead friend walking toward me. I was totally
surprised and happy to see him. He looked exactly the same
as when he was alive and even walked the same way.
The only difference in his appearance was he wasn't as
overweight and he had a full head of hair. In his physical
body he was bald. We then proceeded into the mall and sat at
a table and talked for a while. We both stood up and he gave
me a hug and I found myself back in my physical body -
totally amazed. I had not been thinking about him so the
whole experience came right out of the blue.
Has anyone else had a similar
